Dog Deck Revisited

I was telling my son about having to drag the 8′ X 6′ doghouse deck to the grove of trees as a prototype for the future, but he had a much better idea:

“Why don’t we use that deck in the trees out front to build a fort?”

Why not, indeed.

And so, what would have been an unused monument to the future will now be a focal point for our family. It will require more sweat equity than the drag-n-drop scenario I originally had for it, but with more sweat comes more reward, as stated by this equation:

The Joy Set Before Us + Hard Work = Completed Project

Tree fort. It’s what’s for dinner.
